Eat Your Own Ears presents Falle Nioke at The Lexington.
Heavily championed by BBC 6 Music, the Guinea-born, now Margate-based, singer and multi instrumentalist FALLE NIOKE has captivated audiences across the world with his addictive brand of mercurial afro-pop.
After years spent perfecting his blended sound, which mixes West African rhythms with experimental electronic music - plus notable collaborations with the likes of Barry Can't Swim and Hot Chip's Joe Goddard - Nioke is set to release his astounding debut album 'Love From The Sea' on 26th September via Eat Your Own Ears Recordings.
Inspired by artists including; Oumou Sangaré, Bob Marley, and Sory Kandia Kouyaté, FALLE NIOKE sings in multiple languages, including French, English, Fulani, Coniagui, and Susu, accompanying his voice with a range of traditional instruments such as the gongoma, bolon, and cassi.
