In a return to your Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, be swept away once more by the electrifying energy and soul stirring harmonies of the Soweto Gospel Choir, an internationally renowned 20 member South African ensemble whose performances are nothing short of a cultural celebration. Since their formation in 2002, the choir has become a global sensation, captivating audiences with their powerful a cappella renditions of both traditional and contemporary songs. Expect vibrant performances brimming with emotion and energy as they sing in a mix of English and African languages, often exploring themes of faith, unity and the human spirit. Their distinctive sound is amplified by their dynamic choreography, dazzling costumes and deep rooted connection to the rich musical heritage of South Africa. Accessible seating is available on each seating level. Tickets for these areas can be purchased online or through the ticket office. Assisted listening devices are available. A photo ID must be presented at the time of use. American Sign Language interpretation is available on request. In order to provide qualified and appropriately prepared signers, the Center requires signing requests be submitted at least two weeks prior to performance date.
